Beowulf Alley’s Out to Lunch Theatre - Let’s Talk About Summer in Tucson

(Tucson, AZ – Dec. 16, 2008) BEOWULF ALLEY THEATRE, 11 South 6^th Avenue, is seeking local Tucson playwright submissions for their ongoing Out to Lunch Theatre series. We are seeking light-hearted plays about summer in Tucson or the surrounding summer retreats. OTL THEATRE opens each month with a new theme. Performances are from 12:15 to 12:45 on Wednesdays. Lunch may be purchased from Beowulf via phone or online at www.beowulfalley.org and picked up at the theatre, or audience members may choose to brown bag it with their own fare.

GUIDELINES:

Playwrights—please submit a play based on Summer in or around Tucson (or escapes to cooler retreats around Tucson). Length of play: 15-25 minutes. Maximum number of actors/characters: 4. Minimal set and props, please.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

Submission Deadline is MIDNIGHT, May 22, 2009. If your piece is selected, you will be notified via email no later than May 29, 2009. There are no fees for submission and no royalty paid for production.
