*2009 Musical Theatre Summer Camps

Live Theatre Workshops summer camps are one week music, theatre,
dancing, and technical theatre experience. Everyday Students will work
with a choreographer on two to three dance numbers, a vocal coach on
musical theatre style singing, and with professional teaching artists
who will lead them through the process of producing a play. All students
will be assigned a role and will learn acting technique and theatre
skills through the process of rehearsing their character for a final
performance of their play and musical numbers. Camps are arranged by age
and grade level-all skill levels are welcome. All of our teachers are
trained to introduce and teach in a way that makes the entire experience
fun and educational in a safe and low-pressure environment. While
students will be very busy learning lines, acting, singing, dancing,
building sets, and producing their play; there is plenty of time for
acting improvisation and theatre games.

1/2 Day Camp2: ages 5- 7 1pm - 5 pm June 15 - 19
Camp 1: 3rd and 4th grade June 22 - 26
Camp 2: 5th - 6th grade June 29 - July 3
Camp 3: 7th - 8th grade July 6 - 10
Camp 4: 9th - 12th grade July 13 - 17
Camp 5: ages 8 - 18 July 20 - 24
*Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
$225 for the full week camps 1-5
$115 for 1/2 day camps
