2011 Lumies Call for Nominations Now Open
A project of the Tucson Pima Arts Council, in partnership with business, government, and the arts community
Lumies Arts Awards are Thursday June 9th, Save the Date!
You are invited to submit nominations for the Arts Awards, honoring outstanding achievements through the arts in our community. Who are the people and associations that enrich, stimulate, educate, bolster, and advance our economy and spirit within our city and county? Who is putting their time, money and energy into assuring that opportunities to view, teach and learn from the arts not only are sustained but grow for all our citizens? If you were fortunate to have worked with such a person or at such a place or if you have been even more fortunate to have grown in your creative endeavors because of an educational opportunity then now is the chance to express your gratitude. Take the time to identify those that shine and honor that luminary by completing a nomination online today.

The Lumies Celebration will take place at the El Casino Ballroom on Thursday June 9th. We are planning an excellent evening of sound and sites. Nogales performers, The Jon's will take us away into the night. Stay tuned for more information and the opening of ticket sales
