Subject: University of Arizona Student Film Casting Call

We are looking for a male in his late 40's to mid 50's that is tall and possibly a little round around the waist. Previous acting isn't necessary, however it would be a plus!

Unfortunately as we are student filmmakers we will NOT be able to provide pay as compensation, however we will provide food and snacks on set. Please do NOT ask us to pay you, (even if you are SAG), again we will not pay you.

We are planning to shoot this Monday April 11, 2011 from 5pm-10pm and Wednesday April 13, 2011 from 9am-3pm.

This will be a great opportunity to possibly get an "in" with the young and very talented student filmmakers on the University of Arizona campus.

The role is about a man who lives a very unfulfilled, boring, routine life while taking care of his ill mother. He plans to surprise his mother with a birthday party, however he discovers she is dead. This short film has a very "unsatisfying" ending and also very Neo-realism feel.

If interested please provide a headshot and if possible a resume.

Thank you,

-Jackie
