McGruff. 88 Crime Inc. is shooting a Public Service Announcement at Old Tucson on December 7-8 featuring McGruff the Crime Dog and his protege Scruff. Dick Fisher is leading the production and is looking for volunteers to fill out the production team. There is no monetary compensation, but its a great cause and it will be an exceptionally high quality project. Ambiguity. Humans and Fido Productions is finishing up shooting and continuing with post production of an action adventure film about Guatemalan immigrants seeking the American dream. They are looking for about 20 Spanish speaking voice over actors to do work in post. They are also looking for anyone who can hook them up with access to photo opportunities of a boarder patrol truck. They are looking for a make up artist for a scene shooting on either December 20 or December 21 who can do make up to show cuts and bruises related to a fall down a steep hill. The make up position is paying. Finally they are interested in someone with experience with color correction. The color correction position is paying. With A Man, Not My Husband. Syndicated Evangelist is auditioning for a short film written by Carolyn Cosgrove and entitled: With A Man, Not My Husband. It's a one scene film with a Sex in the City meets Vagina Monologues kinda feel that challenges the norms and expectations for women with regards to dating and sexuality. Casting is for the three roles in the film: Carolyn, an attractive single woman between 25 and 45; Emily (Carolyn's best friend) and also an attractive single woman between 25 and 45; and Gregory Paul (a man who would like to go on a blind date with Emily) an attractive man between 25 and 45.
