Subject: Audition Notice: "Virtual Coach" for Local Software Company
Casting Call - PAID
MindPlay is a local computer software development company with the goal of assisting people in overcoming the challenges of becoming fluent readers. We are looking for an adult male of color (Hispanic, Asian, African-America, etc.) to be a "Virtual Coach" for an upcoming educational software release. Filming is planned to begin in early March.
The actor must speak fluent English with clear diction, be able to read from a teleprompter, and be available to work during normal business hours. Talent will be compensated at a rate of $50 per hour. Approximately 12 hours of recording time and 8 hours of in-office preparation time is estimated for the project.
Interested individuals are requested to send a headshot and resume to bwoodcock@mindplay.com. Selected candidates will be asked to create a screentest using a sample script that we will provide. The initial application of headshot and resume, as well as the screentest, will need to be submitted by Monday, February 16, 2015, in order to be considered for the part.
