“ It’s just so silly…It’s just so fun…”
-Arizona Daily Star
A NEW WRITING TEAM FEATURING WENDY BURK AND ERIC MAGRANE!
DIRECTED BY EVA TESSLER
Join the shepherds, dog and sheep in their perilous march to Belen to witness the birth of the Baby Jesus. As they pass through the wilds of Arizona, they will encounter scary (but whacky) racial profiling Devils who will snare them with all kind of gadgets and glorious Archangels who will save them at the last minute with flaming swords and beautiful songs. Sweet Christmas Carols sung in English and Spanish accompanied by Gertie and the T.O. Boyz Waila Band and Big Jim Griffith and his banjo. Pinatas for the little ones after every show. A special performance by the Ballet Folklorico Tapatio before Sunday’s matinee !
Supported in part by the Friends of the Pastorela
