THE LAST FIVE YEARS Dinner Theater Dec. 2-3

Jason Robert Brown's musical about a couple's relationship will be paired with a wedding-themed four-course dinner in an event presented by Ironwood Ridge High School students.

The one-act contemporary play follows Jamie’s five-year relationship with Kathy, in a story that starts at the beginning of their courtship. Mingled in is Kathy’s perspective, starting from their impending break-up and looking back.

Along the way the audience acts as guests as they enjoy the dinner that includes wedding cake and other features of a wedding reception.

Theater arts students from Ironwood Ridge High School will stage the performance while the school’s culinary arts students will prepare and present the meal.

When: 6 p.m., Dec. 2 and 3, 2010
Where: Ironwood Ridge High School Cafetorium, 2475 W. Naranja Drive, Oro Valley
