  All,

We're proud to announce our next fun filled meeting.

All who are interested in the media arts or in building the economy through electronic media are welcome. You will not want to miss our awesome presenters this month. We'll also have an important update on progress form the board.

Where: Midtown Ward Six City Office Main Meeting Room, 3202 East 1st Street, Tucson, AZ 85716

When: Tuesday, March 15th, 2011 · 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Guest speakers include:
Arizona International Film Festival representative Mia Schniable will tell us all about the incredible schedule planned for the 20th Anniversary of this internationally renowned film festival which will run for a solid 20 days this year starting April 1, 2011. Mia will have some surprises for us and will give you a road map to this important event for Southern AZ film.

Water Festival representative Jodi Netzer will tell us about this water based festival taking place in late March and early April that is incorporating a film festival component.

Fight coordinator and actor Robert Linden will talk about the art of fight choreography and will teach us "how to sell a punch" demonstrating his method on IFASA board president Eric Schumacher. Learn how to make your fight scene look realistic while keeping it safe. A great lecture for directors, producers, actors and film enthusiasts alike.

Our keynote Speaker for the night is film and video game composer Hamdija Ajnovic: Hamdija (pronounced "Humdia") will discuss his process and career (which includes composing and scoring the music for popular X Box games) and will explain how music can elevate a film. A fascinating topic explained by an expert in the discipline.

Don't forget our open announcement period and make sure to bring your fliers, headshots and other promotional materials. We'll have a room full of filmmakers. Network!

Please consider bringing a store bought non perishable food item to share at our snack table.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please spread the word and try to bring at least two people to this meeting.

"Don't be left out. Member meetings are always full of surprises and the room is filled with people from every discipline in our industry. And remember, IFASA is an important organization to Southern Arizona, because IFASA is YOU!" ~Board President Eric Schumacher.
