Subject: Independent Filmmaker Looking For Two Actors
Hello,
I am a first time filmmaker looking for 2 actors.
*****************
Independent Filmmaker Looking for Two Actors for Short Film
About the Film: This experimental film will explore the beauty and sadness of grief. My vision is for this to be an aesthetically stunning and emotionally moving piece. "A Moment in Time" is an exploration of the art of cinema. Poetry, visuals and a moving film score will help create an atmospheric mood to strengthen the dark, romantic tones throughout the film.
Logline: After losing his wife, a 19th century writer is haunted by her in dreams and remembers moments he had with her in childhood.

Accepting submissions for:
James - Lead / Male / 23 to 30 years old
James is an intense man who has recently lost his wife. He is able to convey emotion well and speak with a slight British accent. He is 5'11" or taller and has a toned, medium build.
Young Sarah - Featured / Female / 7 to 11 years old
Young Sarah has one line of dialogue. The role involves running, flying a kite, dancing and a simulated kiss on the mouth with Young James (who will be the same age as Young Sarah and will be casted after lead is cast). Young Sarah must be petite with medium to dark brown hair and eyes. I am open to working with new actors. One parent or guardian will be required to be present during filming.
******************
These are non-paid positions due to an ultra-low budget, but credit, a dvd of the short film, gas reimbursement and one meal will be provided. Filming is expected to be no more than 2 days and will be filmed on a weekend.
If you are interested in either of these positions, please email caelia.adams@yahoo.com or info@caeliaadams.com with photo(s), resume and a reel if you have one.
Here is a simple website that gives some info about the film and me.
Thank you,
Caelia Adams
