Playwright Toni Press-Coffman has been working with Director Christopher Johnson throughout the summer to develop UNITED, a play about the passengers and crew members who perished on Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania on September 11, 2011. The play explores the lives of these people, who came together that day and faced their deaths with courage and dignity; their attempt to take back the plane from terrorists saved the lives of an incalculable number of people.  United does not portray the action of the attempted takeover.  Rather, we meet each person through scenes on and off the plane, as we accompany the main character, an adopted woman who believes one of her birth parents died on the plane, as she tries to discover her parent’s identity.

UNITED opens on Sunday, September 11 at 2:00 PM,

with another matinee performance on Saturday, September 17 at 2:00 PM,

and an evening performance on Thursday, September 22 at 7:30 PM.

Performances at Christ Presbyterian Church -- 6565 East Broadway Boulevard
