SESSION 1: PAINTING and PRINTMAKING PARADISE
August 27 – October 1 (6 weeks)

DRAMA
Da Vinci Kids
Ages 8-12
Drama class for the child actor, emphasizing stage movement, vocal technique
and creative games to develop a collaborative project.
$225 per session.
Saturday 9:15 am-10:45 am

Da Vinci Prep
Ages 13-18
middle to high school level class, emphasizing vocal, physical, improvisational and performance
skills required for traditional spoken drama or musical theatre production.
Cost: $475 per session,
Class Times: Wednesdays, 4 pm-5:30p m and Saturdays, emphasizing audition and rehearsal skills, culminating in a production of the musical, Once on This Island.
ACT ONE
Ages 14-18
A unique class in social action, using personal stories to develop an original theatrical piece that inspires
peace and leadership among teens. One school year commitment required.

2-D Drawing and Design with Ginny Encila

Acting: Scene Study with Doug Mitchell

Sept. 7 – Oct. 26
(Please note: the class on 9/28 will meet on Monday 9/26 due to the observance of Rosh Hashanah.)
Ages 18 and up. Limited to 10 students.
$240 per session
The acting class will be an intensive eight-week course of discovery, including improvisation, theater exercises and scene study, covering everything from the basics of acting, (choosing an objective, establishing relationships, determining conflict) through the process of rehearsal. Classes will be limited to contemporary scenes.
