Tucson: C.A.S.T. is holding auditions for the 2011-12 season

C.A.S.T. Clean and Sober Theatre

C.A.S.T. is an alcohol and other drug prevention and education program that uses theatre to share the real life experiences of young people impacted by substance abuse. Company tours throughout Arizona to schools and other community agencies.


Season Auditions

C.A.S.T. is holding auditions for the 2011-12 season.  Preparation is one dramatic monologue-maximum two minutes in length. Interested candidates must be eligible for fingerprint clearance card through the State of Arizona and enjoy working with youth.


Contact Information/Audition Time

Actors and actresses ages 18-25 should submit headshot and resume or letter of interest to Susan Arnold: Candidates will be contacted to schedule an audition slot during the week of August 8.


Production Information

Rehearsals begin week of August 15. First production in tour is September 30. Ensemble members are paid a stipend for performances. All travel expenses are paid, transportation to and from production venue provided by company. Contract work through December 31, 2011 with possibility for extension.
