I will be shooting my latest film "Dormant Gene" in April 2012. It will be a 30-minute film made for festivals and television distribution. I am looking for the following actors and actresses. Experience preferred for most roles. To check on my history, read the article in Tucson Daily Star- Caliente section, July 14, 2011.

Any serious actors MUST submit a head shot, a resume if you have one, and/or list any acting experience you may have. Intense dedication may be more important than experience. All actors will receive a copy of the final film on DVD. 

1. GREG - Male Lead: 13-16 years old, thin, short brown or black hair. Must be expressive.

2. GREG - Younger Age (in flashback) approx. age 10, same features as above.

3. GREG - Younger Age (flashback) approx. age. 7. No dialog, one scene.

4. BABYSITTER - Attractive. Age 18 - 24. Features nudity in a bathroom, NO SEXUAL SITUATIONS. Paid role.

5. DRIVER (MALE) - of medical car/ambulance. Age 20 - 35. Ht/wt. proportionate. 

6. GIRL - approx. age 7 - 9. In one scene with boy in sandbox, no dialog.

7. GREG'S MOTHER - Age 30 - 45. Prefer dark hair, caucasian woman ht/wt. proportionate. Experience necessary, intense emotional dialog.

8. DOCTOR - Middle age, Male.

9. NURSE - in waiting room. Limited dialog. Age not critical.

10. CONVENIENCE STORE CLERK - Male, 18-22, "dorky" look prefered.

This movie will be artistic in the sense that there is limited dialog, most acting will depend on expressions and actions. While some might characterize this as a horror film, I would rather it be referred to a character study.
