September 2011 IFASA Meeting Includes a Mixer, Important Speakers and Lots of Fun Open to the General Public

Michael Toubassi of the Tucson Film & Music Festival (www.tucsonfilmandmusicfestival.com) will join us to give us the low down on the exciting events planned for this year's festival, another of the best attended film festival events in southern Arizona.
Marketing:Dr Ed Ackerley: IFASA is proud to bring you a true expert on Marketing to help you understand how to get your projects and your career noticed. Since 1976, Dr. Ackerley has been an account executive at Ackerley Advertising and has taught college level courses in Marketing, Media Arts, Creativity, Sales, Public Relations, Leadership, Administration and Hospitality at the University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, The University of Phoenix and Pima Community College for over 12 years. Ed is a multiple award winning past president of the American Advertising Federation Tucson, and American Advertising Federation National Chairman of the Board of Govenors.
Election Preparation:Our membership has grown in leaps and bound and we need to put a new process in place to support the board elections upcoming in November. We request that all members please attend to vote on an amendment to the bi-laws of the organization to help us to facilitate this new process. There will also be some VERY IMPORTANT announcements about the upcoming election and the coming year. Please Don't miss it.

Members previous and new will have another chance to sign up for a change to be FEATURED in the upcoming IFASA radio commercial. Don’t miss your opportunity to be featured. If you did not sign up at the last member meeting, you must attend this member meeting and sign up to be considered.
