Seeking a very specific person to work as a part time Production Assistant on a variety of HD video productions in the Tucson area.

Typically, a PA is described as "the entry level position on a film or television set. The production assistant does just about anything and everything, from getting coffee, to making script copies to shuttling crew or equipment around town as needed."

A typical PA is NOT what we're looking for although a drivers license and vehicle are a must.

We need a mature (maturity is a state of mind not an age) female with a background, or at the very least a serious interest, in professional video production.

As you can see on our web site:
http://KeyProductionsTV.com
we're an Emmy Award winning production company operating in Tucson for over 30 years doing a variety of television commercials, industrial presentations, video for the web, local, national and international news coverage, live broadcasts and other location HD video productions.

In this case OUR definition of a PA is a person who can assist with camera, lighting, sound (both wired and wireless), green screen and effects set up AND OPERATION.

For instance, OUR PA's help with various set ups, often acts as mic boom operator, helps with sound and, depending on experience, even occasionally operates the "B" camera and/or still photography. Ability to carry 25 pounds for 10 feet is mandatory.

Backgrounds in any or all of the above a serious plus.

We also do aerial photography so fear of flying is a serious negative :).

If not working a shoot you would usually be welcome on most shoots and digital post production Avid editing (unpaid) to enhance your experience and become more valuable.

Another problem of course is that in this business you never know when, where or what you may be shooting so freedom to schedule or work around school, children, your RJ (real job) or other obligations and yet, if you agree to work a certain shoot you MUST meet that obligation to us.

I've tried to describe this as accurately as possible....the down side is mostly scheduling....but usually this work is a lot of fun and we REALLY ENCOURAGE INPUT FROM YOU ON ALL ASPECTS OF PRODUCTION/POST PRODUCTION WITH THE GOAL OF MAKING THIS BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT FOR THE CUSTOMER.

Please respond initially by email with your basic information, background, experience (and links to samples of productions) and goals. Upon review personal interviews may be set up.

Thanks for your time.
