Andreas Hohl of Vader Video will be the featured speaker at the next IFASA meeting, Tuesday, September 18,  6:30pm at the Ward 6 Offices (3202 E. 2nd St.- behind Walgreens).

 

Don't miss his exciting, informative presentation on the process of producing a sizzle reel for a reality show. 

 

Content will include: 

Naming the show – (watch out… trademarks! And then how to rename it.. see below)

Shooting the semi-pilot for the purpose of the sizzle reel

What not to do.. (frame rates etc…)

Renaming the show – due to trademark conflicts… (this needs to be done properly before presenting to anyone!)

Organizing footage, or the lack of

Coming up with a story, and of course the conflict

Creating preliminary information slates, logos, lower thirds and graphical concepts

Discovering who the reel is for and what it is they want/need (the head production company – A. Smith, Los Angeles)

Cutting the reel for the purpose of pitch and synopsis

Selling the deal

Getting signed
