A
rts leaders, directors, and administrators, join TPAC and EmcArts to learn about a special training opportunity for Arts Leaders as Cultural Innovators (ALACI).
Given the changing landscape of arts and culture in this country--particularly around how people engage in the arts and the growing desire for participatory experiences--arts organizations need new strategies in their programs, venues, structure, engagement practices, use of the Internet, and partnerships. The ACLAI program is an 18-month program of seminars, coaching, virtual learning and practicums, which aims to move arts leaders away from traditional heroic leadership – the singular individual as the driving force and problem-solver, behind whom followers unite – and develop adaptive leadership, a set of practices that distributes responsibility for tackling today's challenges.
Five (5) Arizona Fellows will be selected through a competitive application process to join the program to advance their adaptive leadership competencies in the arts field.
