Volunteer for Barrio Stories in Barrio Anita!!
We Need YOU
TO VOLUNTEER at
BARRIO STORIES in BARRIO ANITA!
After our hugely successful first Barrio Stories project in 2016, we are back with Barrio Stories in Barrio Anita! We are asking the pueblo for help to bring a one of a kind, free community event to life. The celebration of Barrio Anita's history and heritage will include a large scale video productions, live music, shadow theater, performed poetry, historical reenactment, heritage foods, and audio tours.
We must register 30 volunteers over the two day event - Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st. Be an active participant in making this beautiful event come to life.

Volunteer roles:
Headquarters Assistant
HQ is where programs will be located, donations will be taken, T-shirts will be sold, and first-aid will be administered.
Oury Activities Supervisor
There will be multiple activities in Oury Center, and we need people to help attendees make full use of them.
Media Operator
Due to the multimedia aspect of the performance, we need someone to assist in operating a media player. No technical experience necessary.
Davis Crowd Control
Davis Garden Party Food Assistant
Assist in serving posole and tesguin.
