What happens to love when you die? What awaits you? What will you remember? If given the chance, would you come back?
Directed by Nikki Martinez, the lush and dreamlike play is a whimsical re-imagining of the ancient myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. After tragically dying on her wedding day, Eurydice enters a magical underworld, where she finds herself caught between love and family, memory and loss. Does she choose to return to the living or succumb to the dead?
The play is wonderfully strange and full of potent lyrical sound, arresting images and wholehearted humanity creating a fascinating experience that is as disorienting as it is alluring.

"EURYDICE is an investigation into what transcends mortality, and how memory shapes the way we love. Filled with strange magic, the audience can expect the unexpected."
            - Nikki Martinez, director
