Spring Classes Begin March 26th
Thursdays 5:00 - 6:00pm
This class will perform at the Children's Stage at the Tucson Folk Festival on May 6th. The children will lead a procession through the festival and perform at the beginning and the end of the procession with live musical accompaniment. The performance will begin at approximately 2pm. ZUZI! Happenings...
Bluesy ZUZI!
A new addition to Tucson blues traditions, Bluesy ZUZI! is an annual event for blues lovers and those who love to dance to the blues. ZUZI! is Arizona's premier multi-generational dance institution, which creates and teaches dance for all levels and all ages for art and maintaining health. ZUZI! is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that showcases talent in programs and community collaborations with outside dancers, musicians, poets, youth organizations and actors. Friends of ZUZI! have assembled a band of seasoned professional local musicians who individually and collectively support dance in the Tucson community.
The band features sensational violinist, Heather "Lil' Mama" Hardy with special guest Greg Davidson on guitar, Alex Flores on the saxophone, Nick Augustine playing bass, and Dani Ponce beating on the drums, along with Bruce Blackstone, emcee, on harmonica. Heather Hardy has been a part of the Tucson blues community for over 25 years, playing everywhere from the Sam Taylor Blues Band to punk band False Prophets.
Drinks are provided by a local brewing company and Circo Vino wines. Nations Creations food truck with be serving indigenous deliciousness!
ZUZI! Summer Camp
High Flyin' Arts Camp
Session 1: May 29 - June 8
Session 2: July 2 - July 13
Ages 7-15. These literature based art camps allows students to explore the performing arts of music, aerial dance, and creative movement as well as theater, writing, drama, visual arts and costume design. Classes will use a classic children's story as a jumping off point for crafting choreography, creating costumes and sets, making works of art and exploring music. These camps will culminate in an integrative performance for parents and friends.

· Music/Drama/Theater
· Hooping
· Acro Yoga
· Visual Arts
· Poetry
Move It! Dance Camp
June 18 - June 22
Ages 9-15. This is an intensive camp for the serious dance student. All experience levels are welcome. Campers will focus on exploring different dance and movement forms.
Classes may include:
· Modern Dance
· Ballet
· Aerial Trapeze Dance
· Hooping
· Yoga
· Choreography
