Subject: High Flyin' Summer Youth Arts Camp from Zuzi! Dance/Arizona Onstage Productions

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

There are a few remaining spots open for energetic, motivated youth ages 7-14 for the 7th annual High Flyin' Arts Camp, June 2nd through June 13th, presented at Zuzi's Dance Company, School and Theater, located at 738 North Fifth Ave.

What makes this youth camp different from others?

Our classes are from 9 am - 3 pm, Monday through Friday. The children get to learn Aerial Dance on five low-to-mid flying trapezes, as well as classes in Creative Movement and Hip Hop, Costume Design, Musical Theater/Song Writing and singing as well as Visual Arts .

This literature-based arts camp allows students to explore the performing arts with music and dance as well as the Visual Arts and costume design.  This year, classes will use the beloved classic book "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint Exupery as a jumping-off point for crafting choreography, creating costumes and exploring original music.

This is a unique, one-of-a-kind experience.  Most of the students return for the next year.  There are no more than 10 students to a class - each class having a Master Instructor as well as an assistant.  The camp ends with a free performance for family and friends.  All eight teachers are professionals in their field of art.  We will also have workshops from other professional guest artists.

Total cost:   $400 for the two week full day course (that is less than $7 an hour...)

There are some select openings for partial scholarships based on financial and artistic needs.

Don't miss out on what many consider the most creative youth arts program in Tucson!
