DOG SEES GOD:
CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE BLOCKHEAD
By Bert V. Royal

Brace yourself, Snoopy has been put to sleep with rabies after murdering Woodstock. Catching up with Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts Gang ten years after the comic strip took place, this self described 'unauthorized parody' takes place during their adolescent years as they face the trials and tribulations of growing up. Issues such as suicide, alcohol abuse, violence and homosexuality are tackled both tragically and hilariously against a High School backdrop, often in the same painful breath. Crass and cruel, the play presents a realistic portrayal of what American Teens face, harsh and over the top as it may be. This is one Charles Schulz wouldn't want you to see...

Directed by Danielle Dryer
