Airborne Productions, Incorporated, an Arizona based film company is holding a casting call for a feature film “A Paradise of Bachelors” at the banquet room of La Casita restaurant on 465 E Fry Blvd Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 on Saturday August 16, 2008 from noon to 4pm.

"A Paradise of Bachelors" is a screwball romantic comedy about four defense contractors looking for love in all the wrong places. Like the knights of the Holy Grail, each of these Iraq War vets must slay the dragon whether she be a cougar, a man-eater, a ditz or just a plain psychopath.

The production, written by local screenwriter James A. Bretney, calls for four young men, four young women, ten men and nine women in supporting roles, one male teenager and twenty extras.

Scottsdale Film School graduate, Sierra Vista native and businessman Dominic Garcia will direct the film.  Mr. Garcia's production team includes Phoenix native and multimedia artist Michael Ruiz who will edit.

The production is non-paying, but refreshments will be provided.  Actors are strongly encouraged to both email and bring a headshot and resume if they have them.  Actors auditioning for the first time will not be turned away. Auditions are emotionally intense and actors should come prepared to work and stay for a while. Actors outside of Arizona can make arrangements to send in demo reel

Airborne Productions is also looking for interns and volunteers. "We have a lot good people behind us, we could always use more. People who want volunteer their time, their equipment, their goods or services or their locations are welcome."  For more information, interested parties should contact James A Bretney at (520) 255 4137 or email him at
