Subject: From Jeremy--Film opportunity

The film is a love story/comedy/drama (I'm touching all genres). The Loft on Speedway has agreed to show our film on the big screen when we are done with everything.

I am looking for an actress--a leading lady. She should be between 20-30 or at least be able to fall into that age range with her looks. She needs to be 5'7 or less. The person that this actress would play will have opportunities to explore her acting with the character. We certainly want any input from the chosen actress as to how she sees her character reacting to specific situations.

The time committment would be a full day or 2 half days. All of the scenes not involving the leading lady have already been completed--and edited. Our goal is to have a completed film to present to The Loft by the first week of October so we can get on their calender before the Christmas Holidays.

This is a non-paying part. We will have a cast party, a premier at the theater, a question/answer session after the film, and the satisfaction of having raised significant funds to support those in our community who need help most.

We are accepting applications/resumes/pictures immediately. We are anxious to fill the part soon so we can begin filming the remaining section of the film.

Thank you for your time. Please let me know (jeremyh33@yahoo.com) if you have any questions about this movie or what we are trying to accomplish. I do hope that you can use this opportunity to advance your own career in acting.

Good luck! And I am excited to hear from you soon!

Jeremy

ABOUT THE SCREENWRITER AND PROJECT:

I am 33 years old and I have completed my first screenplay. I teach high school English and majored in the subject in college so writing comes easily to me.

I started my own charitable foundation (www.swimforcures.com) based on my long distance, ocean swimming. In recent years I have raised money for local charities through this swimming as well as organizing a series of musical concerts.

This year the charity that we have selected in 'Youth on Their Own' and the money that we earn with the film will be distributed through The Interfaith Coalition for the Homeless. ALL of the money raised at the theater will be divided between The Loft and The Interfaith Coalition for the Homeless. We are very excited about the opportunities that our fund raising could provide.

We are planning this as a gala event--food and musical entertainment for 90 minutes or so before the showing of the film. This should enhance the experience as well as the opportunity to raise money.
