The Invisible Theatre is proud to announce auditions for the new

Invisible Theatre Acting Conservatory (ITAC)

Saturday, August 28, 2010 beginning at 4:00 PM

Invisible Theatre's pre-professional program, lead by Betsy Kruse Craig, is being offered to students in grades 9-12 who simply know 'theater is it'!  It will be a comprehensive program that will give them the tools needed to compete at a university or professional level.  Company members will work through the year developing and sharpening skills in an intensive conservatory-style program.  This acting company will establish a strong sense of ensemble and common language, while exploring voice and movement, period style and imaginative approaches to scene and monologue study.

Student actors in grades 9 – 12 are asked to call (520) 884-0672 to make an audition appointment.  Please prepare a one-minute monologue and dress professionally.  There will also be material for cold reading.

The registration fee, once you are accepted, is $25 per company member and the cost for ITAC will be $50 per month, with a three month minimum commitment.  Company members will be working bi-monthly on Sunday afternoons for two hours beginning on September 26, 2010.
