The LaughingStock Comedy Company brings its unique-brand of improvisational comedy to the Community Performing Arts Center, 1250 W. Continental Road, Green Valley, Arizona on August 17, 2010 at 7 p.m. for one night only. LaughingStock Comedy Company partners Lesley Abrams and Dean Steeves will perform as a duo creating spontaneous-comedy scenes based on audience input. “Improvisational comedy is nothing like stand-up comedy,” says Abrams, “It’s a delightful combination of quick-witted comics and audience suggestions. It’s a wild ride and milk-spitting funny.”
The Community Performing Arts Center is located in Green Valley, Arizona and owned by Pima County while operated by the Community Performing Arts Center Foundation. The public interest that guided the building of the Performing Arts Center began in the late 1980s with the formation of a partnership between the greater Green Valley community and the Foundation. Together, they maintain the facilities, continuously enhance it and fill its theaters with spectacular events. The newest addition (Phase II) of the Performing Arts Center was completed in January 2009.
