Subject: Bump: FREE Theatre of the Oppressed Workshop

"Plum Blossom Theatre Collaborative is looking for energetic individuals of all ages from the Tucson community to participate in a FREE Theatre of the Oppressed workshop on Sunday August 15th from 12 PM until 6 PM. The workshop will use a number of social justice theatre styles, exercises, and games to discuss our community’s “image” and how it continues to change since the inception of SB 1070 and HB 2281. What are the domestic and diplomatic challenges we will face as we head into this new age for Arizona? How can we come together as a community to shape a future that recognizes the needs and interests of all types of people? This theatrical workshop is focused on addressing these questions through art, interpersonal connection, and forward thinking, not by taking sides in partisan politics. Plum Blossom has no political affiliation and openly welcomes the opinions of anyone who bravely speaks their personal truth.

Anyone interested should e-mail Nick Medvescek at pbtcollaborative@gmail.com with their name, age, and contact information.
