High school and adult singers are invited to join the University Community Chorus this fall.

An audition is not required for membership in the chorus; "however, music-reading experience is helpful," a release said.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in room 146 at the University of Arizona School of Music, located on the southeast corner of Park and Speedway. The first rehearsal is Tuesday, Aug. 24. Singers are asked to come early for that practice.

Cost to sing with the group is $50, which includes music and registration.

Two concerts are scheduled.

The first, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, is titled "The British Invasion," featuring works by Herbert Howells and Ralph Vaughan Williams, and a concert production of Gilbert and Sullivan's "H.M.S. Pinafore."

The second, presented at 3 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, is part of the UA's annual "Holiday Card to Tucson" concerts at St. Augustine Cathedral.
