Subject: In Need of Male Actor

One-17 Productions is currently in pre-production for their newest film, "TV Solitude." The film is inspired from the short story "TV People" written by Haruki Murakami. It deals with a young man, beginning to lose his grasp on reality and his marriage due to the sudden appearance of strange beings with television sets for heads. These TV Beings are seen only by him, yet he slowly begins to realize these imaginary beings may be more real than he thinks...

We are looking for an actor 18-30 years of age, preferably of Asian ethnicity, to play the lead male role, Ken. Film experience is preferred, however we are open to various acting forms and styles. Any actors familiar with stunt work or dance is also a plus, since Ken's movements will have to be very synchronous and choreographed in certain scenes.

If interested, please email us at one17productions@gmail.com. We do have a Facebook page as well under One-17 Productions if you would like to view some of our other films and video projects done locally. You will be notified in late August if selected for a screen test. If selected, we would like for you to come in for screen testing and resume the casting process. Tentatively, the film is scheduled to film in late September over a period of several days. During the screen tests, we will have a more defined start time and schedule for filming.

Thanks so much for your interest in this film and in One-17. We hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
David A. Flores
One-17 Productions
