Parallel Lives

By Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney

Beowulf Alley Theatre Company presents Parallel Lives by Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney August 9th through the 25th, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:30pm at Beowulf Alley Theatre, 11 S. 6th Ave in downtown Tucson. Tickets are $20, $18 for seniors, teachers, and military. Student tickets are $10 with current I.D.

"Parallel Lives" is a wickedly hilarious look at women, relationships, and the quirks of our modern lives. Originally written and performed by Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney, this production will star Lisa Mae Roether and Martie van der Voort playing a madcap array of characters.

From two supreme beings who gleefully create the world (and in so doing kick off the battle of the sexes), to a support group for Disney moms, to a pair of little old ladies who go back to college to major in Women's Studies because “we’ve got the prerequisites for this course—We’re WOMEN!” Parallel Lives touches on family, religion, sex, therapy, fairy tales, and womanhood in the most uproarious way.
