Have you ever met someone who couldn’t smile?

Long ago, there was a Princess who never smiled, and her father offered all his riches to the person that could get her to crack a smile. Come meet this Princess for yourself, and see if you can get her to laugh in this hilarious, original musical.

About the Artists

Leslie J. Miller (Playwright & Director) is excited to present this production, her second as writer/director for the ATT stage. Last year she wrote & directed the ATT production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. She also directed JACK AND THE BEANSTALK and THE THREE BAD WOLVES. Leslie recently appeared in the ATT production of MISS NELSON IS MISSING. Leslie studied theatre at College of Eastern Utah in the small, quirky town of Price. There she learned the basics of theatre arts that she still relies on today including the value of a good mentor and the power of true friendship.

Michael Martinez (Composer/Music Director) is the Executive Director of Live Theatre Workshop. He was last seen with the Mainstage at Live Theatre Workshop serving as Assistant Director for LOST IN YONKERS and performing in the productions of I DO! I DO! and BLACK COFFEE. He has directed, written and composed music for MI NANA Y QUETZALCOATL, LA SERPIENTE EMPLUMADA, LITTLE FRIDA AND HER MAGIC PAINTBRUSH, THE TORTOISE AND THE HARE, and OSO FUERTE. Michael has also appeared in the Etcetera productions of MIXTAPE (Musician & Composer) MR. MARMALADE (Larry), Richard O’Brien’s THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Dr. Scott).

Amanda Gremel (Choreographer) is the Director of All Together Theatre Director at LTW.  She was last seen in MISS NELSON IS MISSING. Some of her favorite roles include Mother Goose Unplucked! (Mother Goose), Robin Hood (The Sheriff of Notingham), King Arthur (Merlina), and Jack and the Beanstalk (The Golden Goose). Amanda is also LTW's Assistant Director of Education and Production Manager.

Sophia Duclo (Princess Mabelina Ursa, Minor) is thrilled to perform in her third All Together Theatre production. Sophia has been a student of LTW's OnStage! Education Classes for the past 7 years. Recent roles include ANNIE (Annie), ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Alice), and GUYS AND DOLLS (Nicely-Nicely). Sophia attends middle school at St. Cyril of Alexandria. When she's not acting, Sophia is drawing, singing, painting, and jamming out on her saxophone. Hop in your spaceship and enjoy the show!

Aidan Cipra (Spaceboy Maximillian) lives in Tucson and is a senior at Empire High School this year. This is Aidan's first show with All Together Theatre; however, he is a regular audience member at LTW. He has held many roles in his high school productions, including Kevin (ROBIN HOOD) and Mr. Bratt (HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING). Aidan loves performing and is excited to make his ATT debut.

Tyler West (Down) lives in Tucson and is currently a Senior at Sabino High School. Tyler is excited to make his debut at ATT and hopes to return again for other shows at LTW. This year he will perform at his high school with both the Sabino Players and the Sabino Improv Club. He hopes you enjoy this show and many more at LTW!

Seneca Vuke (Downer) is currently a senior at Sabino High School. She is excited to make her debut on the ATT stage after participating in many of LTW's OnStage! Education Classes. She has been involved in productions at Top Hat theater as well as school-based shows and classes since sixth grade. She previously studied with Paul Fischer through Satori School. She is excited to be involved in this high-energy, original production.

Chelsea Force (Queen Sophina Ursa, Major) lives in Tucson and currently attends UA. Chelsea performed in ATT's THUMBELINA (Mole and Mother), ALICE IN WONDERLAND (TweedleDum), and MISS NELSON IS MISSING (Phoebe). She is excited to return to the stage and entertain adults and children alike. Enjoy the show, and come back soon!
