New Season, New Classes, New Shows

"Cold steel they cannot stand,
Crosses made of ash,
Rowan berry, red thread,
Nor knife in door may pass."

-Bun from The Love Talker

September is here! As the days grow shorter and autumn looms on the horizon, we will be exploring isolation, madness, and what it means to stray from the path -- themes that will haunt us into our opening show!

We have an amazing cast and design team, and we can't wait to share with you Two Plays for Lost Souls: The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman (and adapted by fellow Scoundrel &  Artistic Associate Christopher Johnson) and The Love Talker by Deborah Pryor, running October 19-29th.

Construction Update

We have a lot to do before we open!  We've moved from framing into drywall...and it's amazing how actual walls transform the space.  Meanwhile, our electricians have been hard at work running pipes for our new grid and upgrading the building's ancient system in order to handle the new load.

We have also been busy finding doors for our Victorian-inspired Penny Arcade wall - a wall of doors, pinholes and keyholes through which you will soon be able to peer into dioramas and automaton worlds.

Local artists are helping craft those worlds hiding in our walls - and if you know of additional artists whose imagination would be captured by a project like this, let us know!

Give a Little...Get a Little

We only have 13 days left of our all-or-nothing Kickstarter Campaign, and we need you and everyone who loves theater in Tucson to help us reach our goal.
There are awesome rewards available for you ranging from T-shirts to mugs to stickers (pictured below)--even Scoundrel & Scamp Season Tickets!

And for those of you who wish to be immortalized...we can grant that, too! Please give what you can--it's tax-deductible, minus the swag.
