Subject: Extras Needed for Feature Film Tonight and Tomorrow - Unpaid
About 20 extras, 18 to 25 years old, are needed for a no-budget feature film shooting TONIGHT and tomorrow afternoon. You do not have to be in both scenes.
I apologize for the late notice, but we had some difficulty coordinating the locations. We appreciate anyone who can participate.
Friday, 7 August
7:30 -10:30 PM
Skrappy's (parking lot), 191 E. Toole
Saturday, 8 August
1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The Living Room, 413 E. 5th St., (just east of 4th Ave)
Unfortunately, we are not able to pay anyone. And, PLEASE eat dinner before coming to set -- only water will be provided.
Dress casually, as if you were going to a concert. No large, clearly visible logos.
D.I.Y. was written and is being shot by Derek Griffith (DP on Trade In and various award-winning shorts). It is a coming of age film about a young man who starts an independent punk rock label. Principle photography is almost complete.
