Subject: Audition Notice
Subject line: Season Auditions for Comedy Webseries
RobEric MEDIA, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, founded by local actors Eric Schumacher ("Crewing Up" "Just Sampling", "Writing Fren-Zee", "Last Night pf Bally Hoo", "Don't Talk to the Actors") and Robert Linden ("Mary Shelly's The Last Man", "Top Brass", "Penitence") would Love to give you the opportunity to audition for our first production, a comedy science fiction web series scheduled for multiple seasons which we intend to grow into a very popular series indeed. The series will be directed by Pondo Enterprises' Marty Ketola ("Writing Fren-Zee").
We are casting for the following principal roles:
Amanda: Female, any ethnicity although we are leaning towards non-Caucasian. Attractive young woman, mid 20's to mid 30s. Sharp and business minded but with a kind heart. Amanda is an investigative reporter by training and is a major celebrity. She's the host of a nationally syndicated celebrity talk show (think Oprah Winfrey) and is about to get the opportunity for the scoop of a lifetime.
Mindy: Female, any ethnicity. Attractive young woman, early to mid 20s. Mindy is a party girl in her personal life who Loves the LA celebrity party scene, but professionally she is Amanda's trusted and efficient personal assistant. She's a bit of a player, and plays the field regarding men quite aggressively. She's like a little sister to Amanda and helps her to relax and enjoy life when she gets too uptight.
We are casting for many, many other roles of all ethnicities, ages and body types both male and female. We are in the process of drafting scripts for season 1 and there will be an opportunity for us to use upwards of 15 day players during the season which will be shot primarily beginning in early 2010 and throughout the year. Some actors will be needed this year for the pilot episode and trailer. Day player cast will be called on an as needed basis throughout the season and beyond.
