We're casting for an indie horror movie to be filmed in and around Tucson in November 2009. We need a cast of bright young performers (18+), regardless of prior film or theatre experience, and a love for the horror genre is a definite plus. It's a throwback to the '80s-style slasher movies, so expect a lot of running, screaming, and lots of (mostly fake) blood! It's an 80-90-minute feature set in a mostly urban environment, with a cast of 10 performers, mostly ranging in ages from 18 to 35. Two 50+ male performers are needed as well as one 40+ female performer. Experience is not required, but a love for the genre is a strong preference!

It's a low-budget production, but all actors are paid for their work. Per diems based on travel, etc., may also be available.

Send pics and resumes ASAP. We'll be filming some teaser trailers and promotional videos the first week of November, and will be filming later that month, so be ready to hit the ground running!

  • Location: Tucson
  • it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
  • Compensation: Paying gig for all actors; per diems based on travel or other expenses may be available as well.
