The Amazing and Talented KIDS UNLIMITED's

Annual Winter Production – 'THE MUSIC OF MOTOWN'

 

 

"The Music of Motown" is the theme for this Winters' musical extravaganza. Featuring highlight's of decades of the Motown sound and the celebration of many of its star performers.   This production features every level of KU's Performing Group. Act I will begin with a full cast celebration of the music of STEVIE  WONDER .We continue with a wonderful variety of some well known Motown songs including: Knock On Wood, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, Do You Love Me to name a few.  Closing Act I our Junior Company will celebrate the music of THE JACKSON FIVE concluding with a full company rendition to "I'll Be There".    Act II features our Senior Company and their interpretation of this wonderful sound.  Two phenomenal medl eys cover some of the most well known music of Motown, including the music of THE SUPREMES, and songs such as "Ain't no Mountain High Enough", "Sugar Pie, Honeybunch".  A Kids Unlimited show would not be complete without some touch of Musical Theater, and so we bring you our interpretation through dance of some of "DREAMGIRLS" hottest music (of course we do some singing too). Closing this unique show is the inspiration for it, Kids Unlimited tribute to Michael Jackson.  We promise you'll be singing and moving in your seats.

Kids Unlimited is a non-profit organization formed over 23 years ago whose mission is to "Provide a safe stage for Tucson's young performers from ages four to eighteen".   Kids Unlimited entertains charitable organizations including retirement and nursing homes in and around Tucson and the Southern Arizona area.
