Auditions for The Rogue Theatre's 2016–2017 Season 

The Rogue Theatre will hold auditions for the 2016–2017 Season on Monday, April 25th, 5:00–9:00 pm for the following roles:

 

Angels in America by Tony Kushner    

September 8 - 25, 2016   Rehearsals begin July 26th

            Louis - a young Jewish gay man     

            Belize - an African-American ex-drag queen

 

Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov   

November 3 - 20, 2016   Rehearsals begin September 13th

            Marina - an older female nurse

 

The White Snake by Mary Zimmerman 

January 12-29, 2017  Rehearsals begin November 13th

            Fa Hai - an evil Buddhist monk

            Sister and assorted roles - a woman, any age

            Acolyte and assorted roles - a young woman

            Brother-in-law and assorted roles - a man, any age

 

Penelope by Enda Walsh   

March 2 - 19, 2017   Rehearsals begin January 17th

            Burns - a young man

 

Macbeth by William Shakespeare

April 27 - May 14, 2017  Rehearsals begin March 7th

            Malcolm – a young man

            Ross – any gender or age

            Hecate – any gender or age

            Fleance, Young Siward, Captain – a young man

            Lennox, Doctor – any gender or age

            Lady Macduff, Donalbain – a young woman

                          
Please email Cynthia Meier at director@TheRogueTheatre.org for audition appointment on Monday, April 25th, 5:00–9:00 pm.

All actors who have not previously worked with The Rogue Theatre should bring a headshot and resume and prepare a 2-minute classical monologue.

(Actors who have previously worked at The Rogue are invited to read at callbacks. Callbacks will be held Monday, May 2nd from 5:00–9:00 pm.)

All actors are paid.  AEA welcome.
