Dance your inner joy
tomorrow, Saturday, March 5, 7:30pm-10:30pm, at Ecstatic Dance Tucson when two of Tucson's favorite World Music bands perform three full hours of LIVE, vibrant dance music and dancing bliss! This smoke-free, alcohol-free, all-ages event features  members of Batucaxé (8:00pm-9:00pm) and The Key Ingredients of African Soul (9:00pm-10:30pm) bringing the fun, sizzling hot, I-can't-stop-dancing music you love to love! Rhythm Industry Performance Factory, 1013 S. Tyndall Avenue (map). $10 suggested donation (sliding scale and trade for volunteer support available). Kids under 12 are FREE.

AFRO-BRAZILIAN DANCE CLASSES
Every Sunday, Batucaxé offers Afro-Brazilian dance classes with LIVE drumming, 5:00pm – 6:15pm, at the Rhythm Industry Performance Factory, 1013 S. Tyndall Ave (map).  All skill levels are welcome and encouraged. $12 walk-in (always welcome) or prepay $40 for 4 classes (use any time). Wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Batucaxé (pronounced bah-too-cah-SHEH, which means "the blessing of the beat"), the winner of the 2010 and 2009 Tucson Weekly TAMMIES Award in the World Music Category, is a non-profit drum and dance ensemble and school in Tucson, Arizona.
