CASTING ACTORS AND CREW FOR UNTITLED BATMAN SHORT FILM/SERIES (Tucson)
Thank you for your time in reading this post, as the title states, we are looking for actors male and female/ film crew members. This is for an upcoming Batman series that will be featured on youtube. It is all non profit as you can imagine because we cannot acquire the rights from DC but we are permitted to make fan films/shorts based off their respective characters. My team and I are keeping everything about this project secret until production begins hence "untitled batman series" We are looking for actors/actresses in all age groups along with a film crew with all and any experience. We are looking to shoot one episode and debut it on youtube and other social media sites, if the series does well, (amazing script, very promising) we will launch a kickstarter for funding and all actors/actresses will be recalled for an ongoing series of episodes. As of right now there is no pay but you will receive a credit in the series as well as an IMDB credit (for major roles) and a digital copy of the finished project. If the kickstarter is successful all funding will go directly towards future episodes (script editing, costumes, makeup, equipment rental, editing, locations, music grants, website, ect.) and gas comp/food for the team. A great opportunity to get credentials into the world of film. This project is in preproduction with anticipated shooting dates from mid march-june we will do our best to keep everyone and anyone who wants to be a part of the project updated.
ACTORS/ACTRESSES
Please submit your headshot/portfolio along with the part you would like to be considered for (if you want to be cast as an extra or any role in the series write ANY) to the above email, along with a short bio/hobbies, also a phone number and the best time to reach you, no experience necessary just a willing attitude and motivation to finish. Everyone works on different schedules and we understand that so you may have an in person audition or you will be givin an excerpt from the script and further instructions on submitting your audition digitally.
This series will focus on the young Bruce Wayne, though we cannot be explicit in detail the major roles are as follow;
Bruce Wayne (early 20's): must be able to look young if desired, clean cut, must be fit, have black hair, sophisticated yet broken look. (If you are applying you must be willing to commit to this project until finished, mostly day shoots but some night shoots as well. You must also be well coordinated and willing to learn stuntwork (nothing crazy just some fighting)
Bruce Wayne (child): Preferrably age 11-14
Thomas Wayne: preferrably age 27-35
Martha Wayne: preferrably age 27-35
Vanessa King (early 20's): must be able to look young if desired
Robin Summers: jock type look
Rockweld: nerdy type
Thug 1: (must be willing to do stuntwork/fighting)
Thug 2: (sameasabove)
Thug 3: (sameasabove)
Thug 4: (sameasabove)
Thug 5: (sameasabove)
School teens: (must have a highschool look don't apply if you look older then 25)
School teacher: any age preferably between 25-42
Fight instigators: must look young, be able to chant enthusiastically egging on fighters
Homeless man: Preferably older
Dick Grayson: Must have the highschool look
Security guard 1
Security guard 2
These are the roles for the first episode, there will be many stand in/extra roles involved so if you dont like being the main focus but want to be a part of something bigger feel free to apply for EXTRA, also as stated before, if this episode is successful a kickstarter will begin and if anyone applied but did not get a role, you will be first on our list of consideration for future roles.
