THE TUCSON DESERT SONG FESTIVAL, JAN 30-FEB. 16, 2014
The second Tucson Desert Song Festival, Jan. 30–Feb. 16, 2014, showcases the tenderness, wit and boldness of life expressed in French mélodie by such composers as Debussy, Ravel, Berlioz and Poulenc. The festival includes concert performances of The Damnation of Faust and a ballet version of Carmen.
Many events are free and open to the public.

The mission of the Tucson Desert Song Festival is to provide a world-class experience for music enthusiasts and novices alike—of enjoyment, education and interaction with acclaimed classical voices singing with some of Tucson’s leading performing arts groups.
