Subject: New theater
Theater on the Move is a newly formed theater company in Sierra Vista providing dinner theater/murder mysteries and variety shows.
Dinner Theater and Murder Mysteries Continue…
"Theater on the Move" will be performing an original murder mystery: "Sierra Sam and the Tomb of Gloom, or….Have You Seen My Mummy!" at the Windemere Hotel & Conference Center over Father's day weekend (13-15 Jun). Theater on the Move is a new theater group consisting of "old timers" to theater here in Sierra Vista: Rene Lipinski, Tommy Kelley, Nikki Heinrich, Beverly Shaughnessy and Sandy Swagler. Rene and Tommy have been involved with theater both on Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista since 1981. Nikki, Beverly and Sandy have been involved with theater in Sierra Vista since 2011. All were involved in the last two murder mysteries at the Windemere: "Deadly Habits" (2012) and "Dead Men Don't Get Desserts." (2013), as well as theater productions on post at Murr Community Center from 2011-2013. Rene, Tommy, Nikki and Sandy were all members of the Illegitimate Theater Company here in Sierra Vista.
We are excited to be back providing more murder mystery/dinner theater for the community, and we certainly would like your support. Our plan is to have 2-3 murder mysteries and theme oriented variety shows each year. If you are interested in being a part of our productions we certainly could use your time, talents and donations. Please contact us for more information via email: theateronthemove@yahoo.com; or face book: www.facebook.com/TheaterOnTheMove. You can also call Tommy Kelley at 378-7037. We need actors, and help with costumes, props, music, singing, dancing, lighting, sound, sets, and help with programs, fliers, tickets and our web site. Auditions for this production will be 28 & 30 Mar at 6 pm; and 17-19 April 6 pm at the Windemere. Play dates will be 13-15 Jun.
We hope to see all of you at Theater on the Move's inaugural production of "Sierra Sam and the Tomb of Gloom, or…. Have You Seen My Mummy." We will be advertising more about the show over the next several weeks, so mark your calendars!
