for a FANTASTIC Rio Style Samba Workshop by Brian Davis!

Brian Davis, band leader for PINK MARTINI, is a former leader of Portland's Lions of Batucada and is a regular long time instructor for BEGINING BATERIA at California Brazil Camp! He has taught hundreds of people over the years to get the basics of Rio Style (Escola De Samba) Samba down quickly and accurately. He is a master at organizing a large group of individuals of various skill levels so that everyone can not only learn for the first time but take it to the next level as well.

At the end of the workshop, you can expect to have learned a basic ride on your instrument, or if you are already skilled, you can expect to have an additional level of skill along with some breaks and new material to go home with or take to an ensemble performance.

With time and location permitting, Brian may be available for additional small group sectional (specific instrument) practice.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! If you HAVE AND INSTRUMENT - BRING IT!

$12/$8 students
INCLUDED if you are a member of Sol Axe!
