Hi everyone,

We are thrilled to present two Desert Diva concerts this month! On Friday, Jan. 24, we will be in Dove Mountain for a show at the Highlands! Our special guest Diva this night will be Mary Redhouse, along with me, Liz McMahon, Regina "the Queen" Wills, and Diane Van Deurzen! On Monday, Jan. 27, Hurricane Carla and Heather "Lil' Mama" Hardy will be on stage at the Gaslight, along with me, Liz, Regina, and Diane. Rich Nordenberg and Erik Truelove will back us up on bass drums for both nights.

Get ready for an evening full of great music and powerful singing! We will pay tribute to some amazing Divas and Divos, including Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt, and Etta James, as well as Fontella Bass, Ray Charles, Irma Thomas, and many more. Don't forget your boa!

Tickets for Lisa Otey and the Desert Divas are $20 (+ tax) and are available at the door for either night. If you want to reserve a table, please stop by the Highlands at Dove Mountain in person (for info, call 579.9574) or call Gaslight, 886.9428. Both venues have food and drinks available before and during the show.
