LESBIAN SHORTS III, the Bloody Unicorn Theater Company's third annual
festival of original one-act plays with a Sapphic slant, is coming back
bigger than ever before. LESBIAN SHORTS III features plays of every sort,
from serious drama to farcical comedy, with the common thread of a lesbian
character or relationship as a central element.
This year's festival premieres a total of 9 new shows, on two alternating
bills, along with bellydance and original cabaret performances.

When: Sept. 14, 16, 17, & 22, 23, 24 at 7:30 pm, plus matinees at 2:30 PM on
Saturdays & Sundays ****Wine and Cheese Social and Raffle following
matinees****

Where: Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Ave, Cabaret Theater, upstairs

There will also be a **One Night Only Special Command Performance in
Scottsdale** at Entertainment Alley, 2200 N. Scottsdale Road, at 8:00 PM on
Friday, Sept. 15th for a featured price of $15.

Series A will be performed September 14, 16, and 17 at 7:30 PM, and
September 23 and 24 at 2:30 PM. Series A plays are: 10014 by Barbara Kahn,
Struck by Scott Tobin, Just Sex (Jazz Hands) by Linda Suzuki, Here Come the
Brides by Phoebe Weiss, and Hot Re-Strike by Linda Suzuki, plus performances
by Dragstar Cabaret and Revo Lution.

Series B will be performed September 16 and 17 at 2:30 PM, and September 22,
23, and 24 at 7:30 PM. Series B features: Second Kiss by Andrea Lepcio, The
Edge of Ross Island by EM Lewis, gender by Larry Kunofsky, and Man On Dog by
Ry Herman, plus performances by the Midriff Crisis Bellydance Troupe and
others.
