Acension Pictures in Association with the Southern Arizona
Children's Advocacy Center is making a short, "Portrait of An
American Family" The production will start in late October.

The short is to be direted by Pearry Reginald Teo, acclaimed
holloywood Director of "The Gene Generation" and the short "Take Me
Somewhere Nice" Check out his work at:

Also, the DP of the film is David GRoseclose who made the locally
popular short film "Garden of Edward." His work can be located at:

The Mission of the project is to make a short film that visulizes
the Advocacy Center's vision:

The Mission of the Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center is to
provide services to children and families who have been victimized
by the trauma of child abuse. These services are provided through
the efforts of a multidisciplinary team, and the team works to
protect, evaluate, intervene, and prevent further victimization.

Here are the roles that we need:

DETECTIVE SMITH: 30-45 years old who been investigationing child
abuse cases most of his life.

MOTHER: 30-45, Mother to Paul (a young child) and is in an abusive
relationship with her boyfriend.

BOYFRIEND: 30-45, in and out of Paul and mother's life. He is a very
abusive and unkempt man.

If interested, show up for an audition tomorrow at the Media Arts
building on the UA campus:

Time: Saturday, Sept. 30th (3-5 p.m.)
