Tucson Parks and Recreation Community Theater is holding
Auditons for Its holiday production of "Maricela de la Luz Lights the World"

directed by David M. Felx.The play is a fanciful drama by Obie award winning
author Jose Rivera concerning the adventures of Maricela and her brother
Ricardo as they try to rescue the Mayan Sun god Hunahpu from the clutches of
the trickster Loki in snowy San Diego.

Roles are available for two men and two women as various Snow
Wolves, Greek Heroes , a Polar bear a Cyclops and such
Roles are also available for two children, Maricela ,11ish ,and
her brother Ricardo,10ish, both preferably Latino and bilingual.

Auditions will be held Saturday October7th and Sunday October
8th fron 3:30 - 5;30 Pm in the performing Arts Building Auditorium at the
Randolph Center , 200 S. Alvernon Way.Actors should bring a head shot and
resume and prepare a two minute monolouge. Cold readings will also be
available.
