Tucson Children's Museum

We are expanding our Festivals of Friendship which are festivals celebrating various countries and traditions from around the world. We want to add new performers and educators. We are looking for performers who can tailor their performance to be for children, make it participatory, and can perform for groups of up to 200 people. We are also looking for artists, musicians, storytellers, and educators who could show off their traditional skills, and/or craft to groups of families (10-30 people). Festivals usually run from 11am-3pm, and usually on Saturdays.

This is how we would like you to contact us.

Send us an email with the following attachments:

1.) Attach a cover letter in Microsoft Word describing your skill or talent, what festival(s) you skills would be most suitable for (and, obviously, which you would be available for). Include email, phone, and address on this letter.

2.) Attach a resume which describes your experience in these areas, and credentials.

3.) Attach digital images(.jpg), audio files(wav., .mp3), video files, or web links of you performing. If you are an artist with a craft please send us digital image examples of your work.

We are looking for culturally specific dancing, music, storytelling, and activity facilitating to fill out our current list of performers so use your imagination and pitch us an idea.
