SHAKESPEARE FOR THE ACTRESS
The first in a series of educational forums for the acting community, this workshop is designed for female actors who wish to develop and/or enhance the skills necessary to perform Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Facilitated by former professor of theatre at Northern Arizona University, Adrienne Perry, the sessions will be devoted to the language, pronunciation and rhythm of the text, while exploring action and obstacles amidst gender issues.
SHAKESPEARE FOR THE ACTRESS is scheduled to begin Saturday, September 9, and will meet for six three-hour sessions, once a week through October 14, at El Ojito Springs Center for Creativity, 452 S. Stone. The fee for this workshop is $79 (if received by September 5) Late registration is $89. To register or for additional information, please call:
