Subject: Advanced Vertebrates: A Short Comedy

Recently the United States Supreme Court heard oral argument regarding a patent held by Monsanto for a variety of soybean that is resistant to Roundup (a herbicide that Monsanto manufactures).

The reports regarding that case immediately made me reach two conclusions: first, if Monsanto were let loose to genetically engineer the sexual traits in advanced vertebrates as they do for beans and legumes, I bet they could make a shockingly better monkey; and second, there are not enough films about beans, legumes, or genetic engineering.

Based on these conclusions, I wrote the attached screenplay: Beans, Legumes, and Genetically Engineered Sexual Traits in Advanced Vertebrates.

Nine Buddhas Pictures will be shooting this short comedy within the next two weeks. Check out the script and let me know if you are interested in being a part of it.
